TOPIC: what makes one a "tokenholic"?

Re: what makes one a "tokenholic"? 16 years 10 months ago #301

Gary,
Dave posted earlier that a company called Silkworm was the company that did the TD shirts. It's www.silkwormink.com/index.php. ; I think he posted that on about page 13 of this thread. The guy who owns the company is a veteran TD DM.

Kim

My only caution about Silkworm is that I am not sure what the cost would be, but it would not hurt to contact Mike...

Actually I am really happy about the garage guy - he got slammed hard for orders and worked one night from 7PM to 7AM...

He is fun to watch as his "baby" company gets going and starts to crawl!

Yes, SMAK, feel free to contact Silkworm...I'm taking 5 from the shirt project.

Thanks!
G

Yes, we do use Silkworm for our shirts. Mike Bergman is the sales person that we deal with and he has been a TD DM before. (He is not the owner, but one of their awesome sales reps).

I know from past experience that screen set up will run $15 per screen, so if you have one for the front and one for the back, there's $30. If you have another one for the front side, there's another $15.

I'm sure if you give Mike a call and tell him you're a TD player and are looking for shirts, he'll get you a price quote and everything.

Good luck!

Lori

Also, as a bit of a side note, Silkworm was started by a guy (Bob) in his garage and now it's a multi-million dollar company, so Gary's "garage" friend might be on to something!

If you do go with Silkworm, you could definitely reconsider the graphics issue, if you do. let me know, I will be happy to help in any way I can.

Dave

Let's do the wooden token on the back - surrounding "Got PURP?"

Forgive the thread necromancy,
But just thought I'd interject one if it hasn't been said.

. . . . If you dream of tokens or wining a token in your dreams.

Okay not especially funny or witty but its gotta count for something.
As we near the con now comes the fretting of AHHH will everything be done in time?!? Thinking of the flyers I need to make and print out. As such worries play more on my mind they also begin to appear in my dreams.
Such as last night, where among such things as in the dream waking up the clock saying its 7am, but its actually 4am and getting up and starting to get ready to work and wonder why the others are still sleeping in the hotel room.
Among the choas of that in my dream I come across a flyer saying I've won a token, and although real I have no idea what it does. And I'm like, what the??? Toss flyer, continue ransacking through stuff trying to make sure I have everything I need to drag down to the tavern.
