TOPIC: 2020 AG Token: Slotless Slot Expander!

I think that just means you cannot turn in 2 of them and get 2 additional rare waist slots...at least that is how I read it. Shog comes there the Astral Plane (I think) like other ghosts.....ohhh is that not what you meant?

Not sure about Shog. But its interesting that the ghost icon has a symbol on it and if you zoom in on the pic it looks like there's a little ghost figure inside the ghosts head.

By the sound of the name, my mind goes immediately to Lovecraftian mythos. But the look of the creature doesn't seem typically Lovecraftian.

However, "Hitchhiking Ghost" makes me think of the Haunted Mansion at Disney and we all know part of TD's inspiration is haunted houses.

Part of my question stems from this part on TokenDB:

A character may not benefit from more than one Hitchhiking Ghost effect per adventure.

So... when Hitchhiking Ghost: Zebulon (or whatever is next) rolls around, you have to choose between the two. To me, this sounds much like how Runestones work.

With Totem Paints, it didn't really matter as much that you could only turn in one, since HP aren't (usually);on the party card. But these Rare belts do impact the party card.

I follow you now. Maybe then it will become an issue. I honestly don't see many of these getting used. Maybe I am wrong in that. A consumable rare that you turn in before the adventure and gets you +2 (or +3 and -2AC) Str doesn't sound bad at all. However because they are not from packs and only available at every 2k spent, I just don't think this one is going to see a lot of play. And I have no issues with that. It is a fun little token, imo.
