I'm impressed it isn't more. Most of mine have 24 or so. Bard is well beyond that.
Slotless is definitely a way to make a token more desirable.

I don't want this necessarily, but I could see a horn slot, a pouch slot, and/or perhaps a limit on slotless tokens in general.

I’m sure it could be more if I worked at it a bit.

Challenge accepted. ;)

Edit. I’m up to 55/20 now. More to come I’m sure.

You can do better than that. My regular Cleric build has 33 slotless items.

Cleric gets a holy symbol, scepter of the dead, and probably some other things I'm forgetting.

In spite of how they're flagged in the TDb, I would argue that a holy symbol is effectively a slotted item. You can only use one per adventure and they can't be swapped. How is that different from other, officially slotted items?

As for Scepter of the Dead, I'm going to channel Comic Book Guy and say, "Worst. UR. Ever." :P
Have you looked it up in the TDb ?
Please post TDb corrections in this thread .

Re: Holy Symbol - agreed. That’s what makes Haven Holy Symbol so aggravating, and I kick myself for not catching it

Re: Scepter - debatable. Fizzy Lifting is a contender, IMO. Scepter can be useful for puzzles, but a handful of PoDDs is better.

There are only 30 spots in the character generator. ;)

Are you counting gear tokens? I have a bunch of those that I carry in a second binder.
D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

How about a limit of, say, 20 slotless tokens per person? Of course, that would be a "slot" for "slotless".

I love the Scepter of the Dead! It's slotless, and has a great ability to let dead characters verbally participate in a room for the meager cost of 5 HP per room. I think every Cleric should have one. It's WAY better than a token like Gnomish Fizzy Pack, which takes up a really valuable slot for a pretty useless effect.

I’d definitely want the gnomish fizzy pack if it was slotless so I could Sneak Attack flying monsters.

Nope, just the different slotless things that are available from the dropdown in the character generators.

Right. The website character creator has no apparent limit. I actually had 34 until I realized I had equipped both the Soul Coffer and Soul Jar. Though maybe I should keep both equipoed for Grind (grumble grumble shatter grumble grumble)

True, if it was slotless it would be pretty good. As it is, it's not worth the back slot.
