I think people are going to be shocked that play druid that they are going to be doing a ton more healing because the cleric won't be able to keep up wtih it. You might even getting bards having rings of spell storing, Crown of expertise and carters tomb so they can get 5 castings for soothe wounds.

Those items are good while playing bard. Never have cast soothe wounds and don't think I will even with the changes.

When I have played Ranger I have typically used Cure Lesser Wounds to good effect.

I am nercoing this thread because everyone provided such good advice I have a different option now.

Because of being able to trade for UR's off of Matthew Community Trade document I now have the UR's needed to make the Relics for the Rogue, Druid and Bard OR the Legendary Ring.

So do I chose 3 relics now or the Legendary Ring. I will complete the relics next year (or post Gen Con) if I choose the ring. I am not certain when I complete the ring if I choose the relics.

The Druid relic likely won't get a lot of use in my group because I think we are going to need the heals (but I still will make it). The Relic Lute isn't a huge upgrade over Widseth's imo (unless I am missing something). The Rogue necklace will mean I will switch focus of the Rogue from a range class to a melee (I don't have Lenses of Vital Insight for the Rogue).

You make the relics sound so appealing ;)

Considering the recent LoDS/Eldritch set nerf, I’m guessing you’ll be happier with Relsa’s on a healer’s finger

Ring.

While the relics start down a path of stylin' and profilin', the Ring checks a box, so to speak.

More a musing for myself, but would I trade a new class Legendary for a Ring and feel balance, impbalance, which way? Legendaries keep increasing requirements, yet Ring is far more versatile (certainly far more versatile than Druid polymorphing).

Versatile. Flexible.

Ring is reasonably wearable by multiple classes: Cleric, Druid, and Wizards. This year’s relics/legendaries: one class.

Just a thought, and it depends if you play only one class, and what components you have.

I like the +5 Thor's Hammer for a couple reasons. Anyone can use it. Not a bad damage wheel, and can fill melee and missile, because it returns every round. One weapon can be used by any character in both slots, or to fill out missile if you use one of the variations of Baton of Focus.

If combat is not in the plan, this is probably not the best, but otherwise kind of handy.

I outfit and play with a group. So anything made is used by the group and should benefit the group first. When I play without the group I play whatever class is needed.

The relic lute is +1 to hit/- 1 to damage when compared to Widseth's Mystical, but also allows other things to be done (spell, lore, etc)

I think the best for the party is relsa's, followed closely by widseth's legendary lute

I actually would put Widseth Legendary above the Ring. However I don't have enough, yet, to make the relic Lute and then the legendary before Gen Con.
