More aggravating than standing in line while you draw 21 treasure out of the box?

I think for that one isolated reason a bag conceals the disparity better.

I'll admit that's a tough one. I'm probably too new to see the long term effects of long max pull ques in the general admittance. I try as much as I can recently to grab and go with my treasure tokens and double back when I can.

I know my first con it took a couple games to understand What was all going on. it took a quick second to get up to pace on the structure and expected outcomes of an adventure. I feel i was lucky to have ran with some amazing members of the community to explain what was goin on. Since that time there has been some horror stories from new players on the forums and on social media. I know most of this frustration for them comes from a lack of understanding.

Not to poke the proverbial vet vs new player experience beehive that I know drives some into a tizzy, but I feel my comment is probably one of the very few negative aspects that could be considered.

I like the 50 bags myself. Was able to get a couple at ghc. I found them incredibly convenient. I personally perfer to get them up front.

max draw is at 21 this year.

why not make a batch of 21 draw bags. say maybe 300 of them for each station/epilogue desk.

you can still do the larger count bags as well.

People that haven't reached Level 6 yet will still max out at 20 draws I think. Maybe make them 20 count bags, and people that are Level 6 with max TE can get an extra Treasure Chip. :)

Hand out the run rewards at each station. Do not let individuals cut into this process by asking for bags or doing treasure pulls at the reward tables.

Folks that want to turn in their tresure tokens for bags should be able to do so in a seperate queue at the end of all of the tables. This is the same spot you can line up several boxes to draw from by turning in treasure chips.

Need to keep people from queue and clustering around the reward tables.

20 packs would be better.
6th level players could get a
20 pack and a pull/1TT

Not a bad idea, but probably requires additional volunteers.

I like the 20 count bag idea. Although, I guess this year if people don't pay attention to the color differences, people with a max of 21 will be getting 3 treasure chips (2 10s and a 1), New players, who don't know any better, might think they are getting just 3 chips, just like them. Of course, that is until they suddenly have to wait while that player does 21 pulls from treasure box.

Note, TD should probably get a few more 10 count treasure chips this year and probably don't need as many 3 count chips. This year, people with max treasure were getting 1 ten count and 3 three count chips. I see a lot less 3 count chips being handed out. They are still needed, just fewer of them.

I like the hundred count bag idea, but my group pools as much blind treasure as we can to open on the ride home. Larger pre-prepared bags might also reduce variance, which I for one at least, would enjoy.

what are you talking about? you can already do pulls at the end of a dungeon. handing someone a bag of whatever count isn’t going to slow things any more than handing them a number of chips. no one is suggesting making end of dungeon replace the store for turning lots of chips for bags. Suggestions have been for replacing getting chips at end of dungeon with bags or pulls because again you can already pull at the end of the dungeon.

i do find it funny that lots of folks want 20 count bags. i can guarantee that if there were post gen con people would complain about cold bags. “i opened 5 bags bags and got nothing.” vs “i opened 1 100 bag and got nothing.” they opened the same number of tokens but would be saltier about opening 5 vs 1. Just saying. :)
