I have been thinking more about this. Choose +2 to Dex and you wear Elf ear through the dungeon. choose +2 Str and you get inflatable Popeye arms to wear. Choose +1 Treasure and you wear a crown with a L on it. +2 to magic damage you get Harry Porry glasses to wear. It would be fun to see what everyone choose by what they wear.

I'm guessing that it's just using your imagination to change your appearance, unless they have disposable items they can hand out. I recall one reason they didn't have costume props like hats for photos for TD teams was that it wasn't sanitary for multiple people to wear them.

Kind of unfortunate that it takes a charm slot. If the power is just +2 STR it's almost not worth it. So hopefully it is better than that!
Classes Played: Barbarian (65 times), Monk (56), Ranger (33), Rogue (25), Cleric (21), Fighter (13), Druid (12), Paladin (11), Dwarf Fighter (10), Bard (7), Elf Wizard (2), Wizard (2)

Hmm, you have just described this years full time volunteer token.. :P
D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

Let them trap us. We have our swords. - Elric of Melnibone.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir

No, that is good, but I am already considering that exists.

A typical build with Charm Bracelets would be:
Avarice
Awakened Synergy
Brooching
Draco-Lich
Greater Onyx

So if you give up one of the last 2 for a Transmorph that only does +2 STR, it's a wash. Which is why I'm hoping/expecting Transmorph is better than that :)

True but its entirely possible that someone else in the party might not have greater onyx/draco claw and would be grateful for the +2 str. Remember there are going to be 10 powers to pick from.

Question for Druegar: Are these usable in Grind?

Also, I assume they are turned in to the Coach, but TDB does not specifically state that. It does for Runestones, for example.

Harlax wrote: Are they usable Immediately?

Yes

Harlax wrote: Is there a time limit for their use?

Jeff did not mention any time limits for their use.

Harlax wrote: How long will they be in the treasure mix? Was it just Origins? Just this season?

Dunno. Probably not. Dunno.

Harlax wrote: Can an AG token be exchanged for one of them?

Jeff did not indicate one way or the other, but I would be surprised if that was allowed.

jon wrote: Will the coach be handling this or CC?

It hasn't been discussed, but probably CC. We'll definitely let the coaches know how to handle them during training.

jedibcg wrote: It would be fun to see what everyone choose by what they wear.

TD will not be providing Transmorph Charm users with costuming or attire of any kind.

Jeff321 wrote: Question for Druegar: Are these usable in Grind?

That's a question for Incognito, not me.

Jeff321 wrote: I assume they are turned in to the Coach, but TDB does not specifically state that.

They must be turned in during coaching, yes. I'll fix that on the TDb, thanks.
Jeff321, please enjoy some milk.

The swamp was revealed as a 2019 location at the TD Moot at Origins, as was as a confirmation of the expected hellscape, and a reveal of a visit to a certain place of learning that many we're hoping for after the runs for 2017.

Neat, I sadly missed out due to my car needing work, but I look forward to the now confirmed hellscape.

Has anyone guessed that it might be a way for True Dungeon to play test new classes? (Such as those that might be awarded for having a full set of Psychic Teeth.)

This bit makes me sad " If your party has fewer than 10 players, your group may not utilize any Transmorph Charm power"

I feel if you have all 10 charms you should get the effect but that's just me I guess.
Sweet a combat room, we won't take damage!
