With new Cons, escpecially Pax which has very different geography, the player base should expand. As should demand. Eventually.

More surprising to me is that treasure pulls are selling for $7 per despite this.

Wait... they are?

I've got some I'll sell for $6 lol!

Laz and myself each had recent eBay sales at that price.

I think the player base expanding will bring the market price down further. More players = more pulls = more fleece. And there's a decent number of TE Tokens in circulation that will allow newer players to generate additional pulls. Plus we have the Gold Nugget coming up next year which will add more pulls. TPTB could always water down the treasure mix if they felt they needed to.

If the trend towards requiring more Fleece for lengendary (and even relic) transmutes continues that will have an impact. As will requiring monster bits for enhanced and exalted transmutes.

I don't think that's true any longer. I have 10x treasure draws for sale on my site at just over $40 (or $4/ea) after discounts and haven't sold a single one.

I guess I need to list them on eBay.

You’re mistaken. It’s not a problem for TPTB. It’s only a problem for those wishing to SELL them. TPTB do not sell them they only trade for them.

Less valuable treasure means less demand for treasure-enhancing tokens, which traditionally is a large driver of token sales, so there definitely could be an indirect effect.

The thing is;
I’m a big believer in a free market establishing a price. I don’t know if you were at PAX or not but there is a Whole new generation of players who are going to want enhanced tokens. I don’t see the sky falling nor do I see TEs falling too much.

So someone like me who is interested in making legendary / exalted , would it be better to save money on to getting Te equipment first or just buy materials when I get money?

You are correct you Never said it was a problem for TPTB however.....
The assumption comes from TPTB “could always water down the treasure mix if they felt they needed to”
They would only make a change to correct something, not sure what to call it? :silly:
