Announcing the release of the Character Generator for Android and IOS with the following changes:

1. Update Creature File
2. Corrected an issue with Frost Dart on IOS
3. Added the Herald token set
4. Modified the data in the Training Room
5. Modified the Off hand bonus penalty to cap at -10
6. Added a button to use the Spirit Pet, if equipped. (should be used only once per adventure)

When I download the file from Trent and David's site on my Android phone and update it, It still shows version 13.3.

My bad. I neglected to update the internal version number. It is corrected now. Sorry about that.

Announcing the release of the Character Generator version 13.5.0 for Android and IOS with the following changes:

1. Updated Creature File
2. Added 2nd Waist slot to support the Gear Golem Totem
3. Added Sacred resistance to the VTD view
4. The button to use your Spirit Pet will be disabled after its use, with support for Heart of Fafnir

When my Bard equips the Deathward Greaves it looks like it's only providing the 3 damage reduction to Melee, Ranged and Magic. Should be 3 in Cold, Fire, Shock, etc. The Website character builder handles it correctly. Using Android version on my phone.

Actually, the way the app is running is correct. When the party is hit with say a fireball from a creature, players may take Spell DR and Fire DR. They are additive. If Deathward Greaves provided 3 to Fire also, it would be double counting.

BTW: if there is a save for half damage, the total DR for the player must also be cut in half. DR is against the total damage before accounting for the save.

Just so I understand this: If my character is wearing the Deathward Greaves and is hit for 10 damage from a fireball cast by an evil wizard where there was no saving throw I would only take 4 damage (-3 Magic damage because it was a spell, and -3 Fire damage because it's a ball of fire)?

If this is correct would I only take 2 damage if there was a save for half damage (10 fireball damage reduced by 6 DR then cut in half)?

Also, let's say instead of a wizard casting the fireball a dragon hits me with a fireball. Since the creature isn't really casting the spell would I only reduce the damage by 3? Or is it's fireball still considered Magic and so i would still reduce the damage by 6 (this of course is assuming that it's correct to be taking the 3 DR twice, once for the Magic and again for the Fire).
