Bead of the Lucky Traveler lists text on the token as "+2 to Will saves" which seems a little under powered ;)

Also, I noticed that Shuriken of Shock and Shuriken of Venom are slotless, while +1 Shuriken , Masterwork Shuriken , and Shuriken are mainhand. Is there a gameplay reason why these are different?

Apparently the nerf to the Cloak of Shadowskin was so effective, it erased the 2014 version from history altogether.

Nope, there's a human* error reason.

Shuriken (and some other tokens) fall into a weird area. They certainly must be held in one's hand to be used, but they aren't equippable because they're one-shot items. Unfortunately, this has resulted in some inconsistent classificationing (it's a word! I just made up ) on my part. I think moving forward shuriken should be slotted, but not equippable. Shock & Venom have been corrected.
