Reproducible on my end as well. It's a font issue - the unicode point used for the symbol doesn't exist in the font. Maybe the web guy changed fonts on you?

These are in the "Geometric Shapes Extended" range. www.gaijin.at/en/infos/unicode-character-table-geometry lists decimal 128964 = U+1F7C4 = LIGHT FOUR POINTED BLACK STAR

But my Mac OS Character Viewer utility (in Mac OS 11.1, Edit > "Emoji & Symbols" then click the weird button in the upper right to expand it), while clearly aware of the code point and its name, showed no fonts installed on my system which are capable of displaying it.

So what font does have glyphs for these code points?

www.fontspace.com/unicode/char/1f7c4-light-four-pointed-black-star lists 3 of them. So I manually installed "Symbola" on my machine, reloaded the tokendb page in Firefox, and now I can see the glyphs! (NB: I'm not sure if Symbola is the actual font used in the token designs, I just chose it arbitrarily from the 3 options easily available to me)

I have no experience with this and might be mistaken, but www.w3schools.com/css/css3_fonts.asp seems to imply it should be relatively easy to have the web server provide the necessary font to clients.

TokenDB doesn't seem to be working. When I try and do a search or select a drop down it just spins...and spins...and spins....

Tried Chrome and Edge. Cleared browser, etc.

Https or http? When I run into this it is usually because I somehow got to http instead of https. Usually, switching to https fixes it for me.

Carter’s Tome of Insight , Crown of Expertise , Medallion of Magick , Necklace of the Norns , and Ring of Expertise now all give an Extra Spell .
