Obviously Gaming Etc knows what True Dungeon tokens are worth and charges a slight premium (rightfully, because you can get the tokens easily from them) and Troll and Toad does not have a clue.
You can't fix stupid but you can TPK it.

It's actually kind of frustrating when you are trying to browse the tokens on ebay because so many of them are T&T. They just keep reposting the same ones over and over at the crazy high prices.

Ever wonder if it's something like a $$ laundering scheme? I mean honestly, who would pay 6$ and change for 1Gp?

Maybe someone that has only played TD once or twice and has no idea what the value of tokens is?

Remember the days when there was only a handful of tokens on Ebay at any given time, with sometimes long periods of time with no tokens at all on Ebay? Now there are always 1000 or so auctions at any given time.

i have heard more than one person who derived their income from nefarious means, say they wish they could "clean this loot", "i would even pay taxes", "how can i tell the irs i make x-amount, but i have all this". you might be onto something, however, i believe it really is just a lack of knowledge on their part.
