I think an interest, and agreement with what George proposed at the beginning of the topic.

That would basicly be the requirements.

In the next couple of days I will get energtic and compile a list of all those that have expressed interest (call them "charter members" of the guild).
NOW this is the Law of the Jungle — as old and as true as the sky;
And the Wolf that shall keep it may prosper, but the Wolf that shall break it must die.

As the creeper that girdles the tree-trunk the Law runneth forward and back —
For the strength of the Pack is the Wolf, and the strength of the Wolf is the Pack.

A token signifying us as the Guild, and therefore discounts on Token Packs? ;-)

Looking at the rules I agree with numbers 2 and 3. I understand number 1 in theory but not sure how it will work in practice. Many token buyers (myself included) will slowly adjust a price as I start to run low on a particular token. So I might sell a ring of protection +1 for a 100 gold, but it doesn't mean I will sell my last one for that much. Supply and demand. I think instead of absolutes there should be a range. For example: Ring of protection +1 80-200 gp.

I also think there should be a rule preventing others from interfering with trades. For example, I sent a few players George's way because I either didn't have what a player was looking for or they were trying to sell something I wasn't interested in or couldn't afford. I do not like other traders jumping in on a trade while I am in discussions. It happened once and I let it go because I didn't have what they were looking for. If I did have what they were looking for I'm not sure how I would have reacted.

I know selling tokens for cash is bad mojo. That is what the vendors pay thousands of dollars to do. I am curious about games of chance. Are they also allowed or are they considered gambling and a no no?

Selling tokens for cash is merely against Gen Con's rules.

Gambling/games of chance are an actual crime.
Have you looked it up in the TDb ?

I would like to be included.

Also, I agree with Rafiq, there should be a rule about stealing or hijacking others deals. If a particular player is in negotiations with one trader another shouldn't be able to just interrupt with an offer unless the first seller was obviously ripping off a newbie or something.

People probably shouldn't interupt other people's deals regardless. What one person thinks is a ripoff others might not. It's too open to interpretation.

I was just saying that I think there should be a guild rule against it.

Lazlo,

This was the conversation.

Me: How can I help you?

Buyer: I'm looking for XYZ.

Other Seller: I have that.

Me: (WTF?!)

This is what I mean. I didn't even make an offer. Is that acceptable behaviour?
