Many many thankees.<br /><br />Just taking a few minutes to myself before heading back to the hospital again. Mom has the breathing tube and most of the other tubes out (seriously, why the hell did they take me in the room after the surgery so I could see my mom with a zillion tubes/IVs/machines that go PING/and a farking breathing tube stuck down her throat? really didn't need that)..I was able to talk to her on the phone yesterday which was cool. The nurses have put up with me either hanging around or calling every couple hours for updates with good humor. I'm haven't gotten to interrogate the doctor face to face yet about everything that went on, that's today's mission.<br /><br />According to the nurses, she's doing exceptionally well and should be leaving the Critical Care Unit to go back into a more normal room in their cardiac ward this afternoon. I warned 'em that me mum is a tough, fiesty old broad. She had her knee replaced a few years back and was walking around like normal in just a couple weeks.<br /><br />Hopefully things continue to go well. She is turning hitting the big 7-0 here in a couple months so I do worry a bit. As of now she's doing well, and should continue doing well. She better or I'll get all pouty.<br /><br />More updates as I have them.
