TOPIC: Terrorwerks

So I just noticed that that Terrorwerks has finally made its way to gencon. This is the TD-like space marine game that started at origins a couple years ago. Jeff and I ran through it and it was an interesting experience. It's all about running around shooting airsoft guns at aliens and assorted other crap. There are classes much like TD with the marine, medic, and engineer being the only ones I really recall now. I always thought of terrorwerks as Origins' response to TD, and it's going to be interesting to see if they end up establishing themselves at gencon. Makes me think that TD should also run at Origins just to return the favor.

Isn't Jeff's agreement exclusive to Gencon?  I think that's what has been said in the past.  Besides, I think it would be hard to get enough volunteers to do both Origins and Gencon.<br /><br />Kim

if TD could go to origins. i would guess that the best method would be do identical runs as gencon. this might take some of the crush/crunch off ticket buying and open it to more people. after all, if you could do either Con to get the experience, some folks might opt for origins for personal scheduling.

I like that idea. Columbus is 4 hours from us by car. Indy is 8 hours by car.

Terroewerks seems cool, and I wish them all the best with their event.  Honest!  I tried to give them a plug on the Gen Con Forum, and I hope they do well.  <br /><br />

Looks like its limited to 18+ with respect to age. That leaves us out.
