Craig's List as opposed to ebay? I've never used Craig's List - can forunites attest to its worth?

I've never used it to buy or sell anything, but I've used it to meet some new players in my D&D group. Craigslist doesn't reveal your e-mail address to anyone who responds to your ad, their responses are routed through Craigslist. I don't know how secure Craigslist is, but I've never had problems with it.
It's fantastic if you're looking for scammers or trying to reconnect with relatives you never knew you had in Nigeria.
You've got relatives in Nigeria, too? Maybe we're related, Henwy!

If you take the time to sell on E-bay you are going to get a lot more money than selling to a dealer. (In a lot of cases, the dealer will just turn around and e-bay the stuff once they buy it from you.)

I am just about to sell a collectors set and a couple of old boxes.

I will be interested to see if I held on to this stuff too long.

NOW this is the Law of the Jungle — as old and as true as the sky;
And the Wolf that shall keep it may prosper, but the Wolf that shall break it must die.

As the creeper that girdles the tree-trunk the Law runneth forward and back —
For the strength of the Pack is the Wolf, and the strength of the Wolf is the Pack.

Everybody is right. Never,never,never go to a dealer! NNnnnnnnoooooo!!
I have sold my collection more than once on Ebay. That's right I said more than once but that is another story. Break it up into playsets of your hottest rares and you'll do fine. This is the best option for getting the money your after. Especially if your not in a big hurry to sell the cards. Then after you made that lump of change you can try the full sets. Some full sets do fine and if your in a hurry to get it out the door then this for you. Don't try and put more than 20 auctions a week either. You'll need the free time to bust some heads on the buyers who are reeeaaalll slow at paying. Once you get rolling you'll be busy packing, shipping, emailing and double checking paypal. So doing more than that really becomes a pain on top of a full time job. Ship worldwide also because your best customers on the older cards like you have are people from Europe. I like them the best in fact because they never complain about S&H and they always pay in a timely manner unlike some of those from the....cough...cough....the states. I tell ya. I have some stories that could be told here. Once again that is better for another day. If you have any questions just let me know. I'll be more than happy to help where I can.

Hey Bpsy don't tell G but don't you think it's funny he called them "multi-lands". sshhhhh.... Just to confuse and string him along. Tell him that they are really "Fetch Lands" and then clue him in later.

LOL!

That was a cool aspect looking back on it. At the time it wasn't a big deal. You probably didn't get enough for it. If you would have held on to it a little longer you would have.
