Someone must have cast “Untangle red tape” on St. Louis.

Congrats! Mine is....somewhere. Other than a label being created, I have no idea.

Same, I'm hoping the first scan is when it's out for delivery.

Lori Martin wrote: I created all of the pick and shipping labels on Monday. John and Matthew came in Tuesday and started the shipping process, which they're still working on.

There are two ways to get the packages scanned when they're picked up by the Post Office. Our carrier has to scan each one (which the local PO does NOT want her to do) OR I print a SCAN sheet which is one bar code for many packages. Unfortunately, once I print a SCAN sheet, no labels included in that sheet can be refunded for any reason. So, if I've made a mistake and printed a small, but they need to send in a medium, we can't get a refund on the small if I've printed the SCAN sheet.

I knew I was taking Tuesday off, so I didn't print any SCAN sheets as I didn't know how many they'd get to yesterday or today.

SO....what that means is that basically the packages will all get scanned in St. Louis.

Sorry! The system is nuts. If we take them into the PO, we can ask them to scan each one, but that takes a lot of time we can be packing and getting packages ready. The easiest thing is for our carrier to pick them up here, but our Postmaster has told her that she is NOT to scan each package for us any more.

Said Postmaster also told me that there are no problems or delays in StLou now and our packages are going through fine. I gave her tracking numbers for a few packages that had slipped into the StLou abyss and she didn't have much to say.

What'cha gonna do?

Lori

Thanks Lori!

Yeah I'm not buying that there are no problems or delays in the Mississippi River Package Vortex aka St Louis Distribution Center. I've experienced it 1st hand and quite a bit lately.

That said we know it isn't TD fault and appreciate all you guys do at TD HQ, thanks for providing the updates!!

Though I doubt it makes much difference, maybe the special gas will stay in the box with its speedy delivery to me.

Well, maybe the speed helped keep the gas in the box-I got a +4 Rod of the Meek UR!

6 bits, Folio of Deftness, 11 rares, 4 uncommons round out my 23 pulls.

Same here. If problems in St. Louis truly are resolved, I should get it on Saturday.

If I remember correctly, my last treasure never got a shipping notification/departure scan for me. Weird.

Well, unless my package left St. Louis without being scanned, it looks like it's going to be spending the day there. It arrived 10:45pm last night. No update since then. 11 of my last 15 shipments from Carbondale shipped out of St. Louis the next morning after they arrived, so I consider that the norm. But 4 out of 15 shipments being delayed should not be acceptable. This might be 5 out of 16, so I'm just hoping they missed the scan. A 1 day delay there becomes a 2 day delay to me when you have to throw Sunday into the mix. sigh.

Edit: For comparison purposes. 15 out of 15 of my last shipments made it to my house the next day after arriving at Aurora. 15 out of 15 shipments have made it from Aurora to Oak Creek to Milwaukee to my local PO to my house within 24 hours. Why does it take more than 24 hours just to arrive and depart St. Louis?

I show mine hitting STL at 12:12 am and not leaving, either, though mine would be headed south from there.

My V4C treasure was scanned into St. Louis at 10:47 last night. Never got a departure scan, but apparently it appeared at the Chicago Distribution Center at 1:33 pm today. It either didn’t go through Aurora this time or just didn’t get scanned, but I’ll take it. The estimated delivery date is still Monday, but there is at least a chance it could get here tomorrow. I will try not to get my hopes up too much.
