Adeya wrote: Well, I discovered the root of my postal office weirdness.

My landlord (who lives upstairs in the same building) told my mail carrier that I had moved. Why? I have no idea. It should be pretty clear to my landlord that I'm still living right below him. The only thing that makes sense is that it must have been a communication error. Perhaps my landlord said something to the effect of I wasn't home at the time and the mail carrier took that to mean "this wasn't my home." I don't know.

In the meantime I think my GenCon badges are on their way back to Seattle and anything else important has been returned to sender as well. :( I put a hold on my mail though and told multiple people at the post office that I'll just pick it up myself. This is an irritation I do NOT need.

Good grief!

Someone posted on the Gen Con forums - at this late date I think their customer service agreed to hang onto the badge kit etc. for will call.

What a bummer!

Got the package today. No GT, but I knew the odds were not good.

Looks like I am done with transmuting until after Gen Con, barring eBay purchases.

Have you been in touch with GC customer service?

Do you think that would actually be worthwhile?

Can't hurt to ask. I would also file a complaint with your postmaster.

you should have tracking?

if you can see it's made it back to the seattle post box for GenCon they will bring it to the con for pick up at will call.

If it's still in transit (as per the tracking) on the way back to seattle odds are very good you can get it reprinted at GenCon.
*mental note* always listen to Jeff

It's worthwhile to ensure they get your packet back and/or have a replacement on hand. They are pretty responsive in my experience - it's This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

I've not gotten mine yet either.

I got mine and my son's... came last Friday with all our ticket purchase...

We were relatively low numbers in the lotto when we did the "submit wish list" or whatever, however... if that might mean anything.

You might consider changing your last name to start with an A just saying.

Will call hasn't been so bad for me the last couple of years. This year I'll be stopping by very very late Wed night/ Thurs morning .

Will Call hrs Wednesday, noon – Sunday, 3 pm

If I got it mailed to my house in Canada I'm not sure if I'd get taxed on it as a purchase?
