Okay, so today I was thinking that I really need to make a playlist for music to listen to when coding. And am also in need of finding some new good music, or at least play what I have in a new order.

So what are your reccommendations for music to code by?
Any must have songs in your playlist I should look into getting?
I like a bit of everything.
iTunes says I have 61 genres, and I'm convinced its not enough. ;) :p

So come on, toss suggestions my way. Please.
Also the order of types of music you find works well.

For instance, I have a 9 hour playlist set up for sewing. A couple hours into it I have stuff like Ottmar Liebert, James Asher, Afro Celt Sound System, and Viento de los Andes, because its calming yet still peppy cause typically at this point in work I'm getting to any frustrating sewing stages. And it keeps me from getting too flustered.

So, what are y'alls thoughts and suggestions.

Based on the music you listed, I don't think you would be interested in anything I listen to...

Techno - Electronica...it is all the same to my lame ears...

Oakenfold, Daft Punk, Eiffel 65, Kraftwerk (my personal FAV for 10 years now), Telepopmusik. So many artists...

Dequils,
If you haven't heard, Weezer did a great rendition of Scooby Doo Where are you?
DI.FM has a really nice streaming classical. They seem to have lost their new age one though.
I find I typically like BT's original version vs. others remixes, although DJ Tiesto does some nice remixes.
Paul Simon did a great song for the Wild Thorneberries called Father and daughter. Now its, probably just cause I'm a big daddy's girl. But I love that song! *smiles*

Hmm, will have to check out those artists you have under new age.
Have you heard any electronic classical? I've got some stuff by a group called Digital Explosion, and they've taken some classical pieces and made them happy hardcore. Its hysterical. My grandpa loved it and asked if I could burn him a cd, but alas no burner drive.
And what, no rapsody in blue?
Or that reminds me I need to rip clebanof strings of fire on my puter!
