Yay! this weekend I will finally get out of a stone age 600 MHz puter!!!! . . . and the villagers rejoiced!

Sorry I just had to share my joy!
Ahh yes, much fun to be had this weekend building up my puter. I've already warmed up replacing the drives in my brothers puter, and getting him all set up with his sweet dvd-rw drive, and bumping the old dvd drive up to the stone age cd drive slot. So that his puter is all happy happy.
This weekend Sulley will get to have his motherboard, and processor replaced! Ahhh behold the thing of beauty that is the AMD Athlon(TM) 64 Processor, w/ HyperTransport(TM) Technology.

Ha-ha, finally the other puters in the house will stop laughing mine. Buwhahahahaha.
Oh joy, the fun of puter building, is saturday here yet?

Woohoo, puter building! *shakes my cache*

Okay, you are now returned to your regularly scheduled off topic posting:

Ooohhhh, very shiny.

*smiles*
Yeah, my eldest brother and I are going to have geeking out and giving Sulley a much needed overhaul. As soon as it comes in(its on raincheck) I'll be adding in a sweet 300 gig harddrive. Woohoo, finally I can have as much music on my puter as I want! *shakes my cache*
I'll freely admit it, I am a complete and utter music hound! I must have music!

Btw, Hackers has a great soundtrack. ;)

You'd look better.'

Speaking of which, hey Indy were you going to be borrowing my overbust corset for indy? ;)
Just kidding.

Thanks,
Changing out the motherboard and processor is really going to make a big difference in the programs I run! I'm looking forward to not having to wait forever for programs to open, or minimize and maximize. Or if I have a image editing program open how it will make my music stutter, or make it take a long time to add effects.

woohoo, upgrade the ol' puter! *shakes my cache* :P

Dirtdazzy,
I feel compelled to say this. I absolutely love reading your posts. You have such a wonderful sense of humor. The world needs more people like you. Congrats on your new computer. I understand nothing about them, but fortunately for me my husband works for Staples in their business machines sections so he understands all about them.

Awwwhh thanks Kim. Yes, my puter will be much happier when its gets its upgrade!
I'm glad I'm of some amusement, instead of just annoying the masses being silly little ol' me. teehee.

Yeah, its funny, games where my system meets requirements still can't be played, because they are so old they aren't xp compatible! *little laugh*

My puter currently would envy that it has nearly 50% more MHz. Admit it, your puter is feeling better now. ;)

Of course, come saturday, that'll be fixed.

It's much more amusing now, having met you in person, since I can hear your voice quoting the lines above. You do a lovely Axe Murderer, Dazzy.
