My feedback is slot everything. Make the Hagstones iouns - it would add more value to the slot and fit nicely for high end players that just got a SH1. Make the Tome Slot (3 spaces sounds about right) you talked about when Gregor’s came out and put the the codex and grimoire in the tome slot. A carters reprint is the perfect time to put “tome slot” on it.

Maybe there should be a restriction, just like you can't equip the slotless Rod Segments with the slotless Rod of Seven Parts.

Would limit the stacking, and make it so you don't need to buy 2x of each. I'd support that.

In regards to Familiars: There will be 10 different Familiars. Are there going to be 10 different set animals that could be the familiar or are the all cats with different abilities? If they are going to be multiple animals I propose Fox being one of the animals. Though getting my own cats likeness would also be cool for the familiar I desire more fox tokens!

Yeah...oops...I got in a hurry with the Bead. It was supposed to be +5 to one of those Stats -- choose at start (and -2 to saves). I will redo it in the morning. Sorry, all. Dinner was almost ready. :blush:


We already have a +4 to a stat for Bead Slot with 0 drawback would it make sense for this to be only a +1 and have a -2 saves to go with it? Not sure that's the right values they should be.

If we make a Tome slot, we can make books for other non-caster classes.

(I was busy today during the previous rounds, so I'm seeing this round for the first time; sorry if I'm missing any context)

Traditionally, light greens have transmuted to a dark green, and light purples have transmuted to a dark purple. Breaking this pattern now feels unnecessarily confusing; since the new $1k tokens transmute to a regular blue-backed relic, just make the $1k tokens gold-backed and the $2k tokens light purple.

The Grimoires feel very weird to me. It's weird to have legendary tokens whose "main" purpose is to be an ingredient rather than a capstone, and it's even weirder to introduce a new slot containing multiple legendaries that immediately compete with each other (and must be powerful to justify their legendariness). I'd much rather see these as lower-powered relics in an existing slot.

I like Endgame's suggestions:

While not totally opposed to a Tome slot, I already have 3 good Tomes. If it caps at 3 then every Tome going forward has to be better or I have no interest in it.

The 2028 Ultra Rare has identical stat impact as the planned 2027 Lenses of Timestep token (+5 Dex and -2 Fort Saves). Having ultra rares that similar from one year to the next may not be desirable. Consider replacing the Lenses of Timestep with a different token this year and using it as the 2028 Multi-year Ultra input in 2028 (since it already has the right stats, assuming the lense slot would be acceptable for the 2028 token).

Please see the PDF for more info on Familiars. There will be 10 different creatures to pick from. A fox will probably make the list.
