TOPIC: 2027 Treasure Token Notes Round 2

I'm actually wondering, if a Carbondale area True Dungeon event becomes an annual thing, should attendance be tied to token purchases at all? I can see some special events there being tied to token purchase levels, but it would be great if attendance and participation in at least one Dungeon be open to all. Maybe a certain token purchase level can get you free attendance but everyone else can still pay to attend?

Hopefully there is a price point where True Dungeon can still make a profit but people attending can still get in and do a Dungeon (or more) for less than they would pay at one of the existing conventions.

While I love the idea of a Carbondale convention every year I just don’t want it to be at the expense of origins or similar conventions.

I think the cost at Gencon prices out a bunch of potential new players, so I think TD should go back to origins and do some other cons at a lower price that is closer to VTD.

Suggestion - if the "Cosmic" benefit is meant to be cult-like, I'd recommend a dark element to it such as you reduce your max hp by 2 to reroll the save or do 3 points of damage to everyone in your party (they must be willing) to power the dark benefit.

The Cosmic theme is to bring in the group of ancient Cosmic beings who managed to put Kthala asleep eons ago. They are worshipped by the Wardens, and sometimes they appear in the mortal realm if something dire might soon occur. You will probably meet one in 2027.
