Trinkets should be left at rare and lower, IMO. This setting would be a great opportunity for a magic acorn focus item.

There's a good amount of interest in this thread for reprinting the +2 Assassin's Crossbow. While that would be good, if it is decided that's unlikely to happen then I suggest the below:

+2 Viper Strike Crossbow
10,9,8,7,5,5 (has no ability, slightly better stats than Stunning or Assassin's Crossbow)
Barbarian, Bard, Fighter, Paladin & Rogue.

- This gives Rogues (and not Monk or Ranger) a much-needed boost for the Viper Strike set. Rogues do not currently have the ability to get 2 parts of the set bonus from weapons, which means the Viper Strike set has become worse for Rogues year on year as the shirt, belt and legs slots have become filled with Relic+ tokens.
- Since the Viper Strike set is long out of print, this needs to be a decent token outside of the set bonus. Therefore, it is equippable by half of the classes and has the joint best crossbow stats in the game.
- If a new Rogue legendary is due, this would make a good basis for a transmute chain since Rogues currently only have one Sneak Attack-compatible Ranged weapon which is a melee weapon. A +5 version of this would make for an interesting alternative to Assassins Crossbow due to the much better hit bonus and non-crit damage wheel.

Greaves of Retribution - +2 ret

I’m sure they may have already been a plan for the greaves already since it’s a multi year transmute but wanted to cast a vote.

Cloak of the Dire Raven - Polymorph item for Druid (and possibly Elf Wizard)(Slightly below avg dmg wheel but allows melee attacks at range)

Seems like a good year to finish out the Death Knight Set:

Death Knight Leggings: +3 to Strength
Death Knight Shirt: +3 to Strength
+2 Death Knight Longsword: 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Crit on 19+: Barbarian, Bard, Fighters, Paladin, Ranger
Death Knight Gorget: +4 to Strength, +2 to AC (neck slot)
Gaze of the Death Knight: +3 strength and bypass sneak and crit immunity (eye slot)
Bracers of the Death Knight: +4 Darkrift damage in Melee
Belt of the Death Knight: +3 to hit and damage in Melee
Charm of the Death Knight: +3 to Strength

Futuresight - Immune to surprise, add INT modifier to AC and Reflex Saves (Eyes slot)

Ring of Awakened Synergy - Grants effects of Charm of Awakened Synergy, but may not equip Charm of Awakened Synergy

Spirit Pet - Vampire Bunny

Vampire Cloak - 1/game melee or ranged attack does no damage due to assuming gaseous form.

Amulet of the Bat - 1/game move (fly) to any spot in the room that a bat could fly to.

Ioun Stone of Transformations: Druid can shape shift into multiple forms per room.

Gloves of Greed: Rogue gets two treasure tokens from the treasure box instead of one.

Goggles of Anticipation: Paladin can intercept one attack per room on another party member.

Holy Symbol of Light: Successful attempt by Cleric makes an undead lose one turn of actions

Boots of Haste (Fighters): Allows one extra non-combat action 1/room

Bead of the Tamer: May use Spirit Pet once per room. Spirit Pet crits on 19-20.
