Effects like Earcuff of he Siren drive me bonkers as common, because new players won't know to tell the DM to give them the bonus, and not new players won't use it.

I know sometimes certain tokens can be marked on the party card, or situational bonuses baked into the card for some modules. I hope that can be the case for this token so new players get some benefit from equipping it.

Mystic Staff of Frost now looks like a problem to me with WIS included, and it affecting to-hit.

For these classes, assuming your DEX modifier also boosts to hit, with Rare Charm of Enlightenment and nothing else we're at:

Level 4
Bard: +6 to hit
Cleric: +7 to hit
Druid: +10 to hit
Elf Wizard: +5 to hit (better to-hit through WIS than INT)
Monk: +9 to hit
Wizards: +4 to hit (doesn't need charm of enlightenment, same value from INT)

Elf Wizard and Human Wizard could get to +6 to hit instead with Hat of Intellect instead of Charm of Enlightenment.

For comparison, a Fighter with a +3 STR -2 AC rare belt is at +6 to hit in melee, and a Ranger with a +3 DEX -1 STR rare wrist item is at +5 to hit in ranged. So all the above classes (except Wizard, lol) are reaching our outpacing who should be the best at scoring hits.

Maybe it's time to errata Charm of Enlightenment to just be "+4 to will saves"?

Or set this back to INT only?

With INT only, the to-hit values on this with no other tokens will be:

Bard: +1
Cleric: +0
Druid: +2
Elf Wizard: +4
Monk: +3
Wizards: +4

Would like to see stinkpot increase in number which can be applied. In a full group, there are 70 tokens of common introduced, it would be good to go ahead and set this to three applications per target in my mind because ultimately, it’s really fun and this is going to create a ton of laughs already because of how fun it is to talk about foul odors. I can just imagine a team going frenzy and just launching all they had to just stink up the place.

I think Corsair eye patch should be reversed. No one closes one eye to swing a sword...but tons of people close one eye to line up the sights of a ranged shot

Assuming that like the Elven Shortbow, the Mystic Staff of Frost is in an equivalent restricted class set for classes that wield mystical energy at range from staves.

From Tokendb 1/2/3/4/4/8 on a common weapon.

The shortbow also does additional damage to orcs, though since this is frost that is probably a reasonable trade.

1 / 1 / 2 / 4 as frost damage is a bit low.

I understand the concern here, and have seen it happen where someone remembers a token a room or two after it would be useful.

I've also seen a good number of instances of someone going "Ooh! I have something for this!" and getting very excited when it makes all the difference in the world.

I think these situational bonuses have the potential to hook in people to the token game. Maybe this is something to add into the DM patter when calling for the save in an affected room? Like "everyone makes a will save! If you have a Charm of Whatever, let me know now."

Tokens from the current year only.

Reminds me of a common that let you walk on lava a few years back that was completely useless when needing to cross a lava lake, that was a “oh I equipped a token for that” not even just “have”

The shadow is backwards on the Rum Drinking Boots. The light is coming from the right so the shadow should be on the left. The one brightly lit boot string would also be in the shadow of the boots if the light was coming from the left.

I can't remember who used to point out all the lighting mistakes in the art (Raven?), but I didn't see anyone doing it this year...
