TOPIC: Full V4b - Sun 10:00 - NM - Double Down - Sticks and Rocks

Double-down run. Weapons must be some basic form of stick or rock. Things like clubs, staffs, rods, and slings. No sharp or pointy objects. Basically, just pretend you're a Cleric without a handy hammer laying around.

Alchemical Stones okay? Might want to throw lots of stones, though who knows this early?

Alchemical stones seems fine.

+2 War Shillelagh? I guess the return of the +1 Quarterstaff only this time with Whetness is more interesting.

Shillelagh definitely fits the "big stick" motif

The +2 War Shillelagh was my first UR weapon. I wouldn’t mind busting it out again. Any preference between me being a Barbarian using a one-handed weapon (and probably Medallion of Valhalla or Stu-pendous Pendant instead of Bog’s), or a Fighter? Might or might not have the Fighter relic/legendary at that point.

No preference from me

On a quick glance, I can get a Barbarian using the +2 War Shillelagh to melee stats of 21/26/32, which seems pretty decent, especially if we have a Bard. There might be additional tweaks that would help, too. I think that’s the way I’ll go. Will give it some additional thought between now and March. Thanks.

For thrown weapons are one-use orbs, seeds and stones acceptable for rocks?

Are offensive spells off limits? Or is it just sticks and rocks for damage, e.g., FOP Reaver not allowed?

Yep! Those are fine!

I hadn't really given spells thought ahead of time. I was mostly just wanting to trim down the melee/ranged weapons. Probably more fitting with the theme to avoid them if we can.

As for the Reaver specifically, I don't see an issue with it.
