TOPIC: Normal Difficulty, Sealed Pack League, Novice Friendly Run

Normal Difficulty, Sealed Pack League, Novice Friendly Run 2 months 3 weeks ago #1

Pretty much what it says in the subject. I recently introduced some new players to the game by equipping them with high level gear and running on NM. They had a good time and want to keep playing, but only with the tokens they earn themselves. I'll be running with them, and to keep from overpowering things I'll only be equipping treasure enhancers, a ten pack's worth of tokens a game (adding one each game to the existing build), and the uncommon completion tokens earned. Would anyone else be interested in that, or know any new players that might have fun with it? Hoping to run Saturday.

1. Rogue - Me
2. Barbarian - Glenn
3. Ranger - House Carl
4. Bard - Tim
5. Cleric - Brandon

10. Unknown - Arcanist

You should also allow them "treasure tokens" after the run. I'm allowing my party 2 rares 1 uncommon out of the current year. You'd use a random number generator to select the chosen treasure

IF this runs at a time that does not conflict with my existing v4a runs and IF there is an open spot left in the run a week out from the start I would be happy to join in with you and let the new crew use my CoA/ISSN/ISGN set so the actual players get bonus treasure. But as I said only if you are lacking a final member. I'd prefer other players get a chance to run the sealed packs :)

Since difficulty is on normal to start I'm going to limit experienced players to just ten packs. New players can use their treasure pulls. When the group moves up to hardcore I'll change that up and steal from your sealed pack league even more thoroughly.

And you'd be more then welcome. You're always fun to play with, and I'm sure the newer guys would love to get 20 treasure instead of 4.

Lets see how it goes filling the run, there's people wanting to run sealed, give other people first stab at it.

I’m in. Are you planning do both a 4a and 4b run?

I’m good playing either of the fighters, monk and/or paladin.

This will be once per dungeon, so 4a and 5a. Assuming that virtual true dungeon continues in some fashion we'll keep going.

Sounds like a plan. It will be interesting to see the new player experience.

I have 2 full sets of TEs, so we can boost other players treasure
