TOPIC: LFO - V2b - Thornbarb Pass Fri 7:36 PM

I have a couple of tickets for this for my son and I. I typically play wizard/elf wizard and my son usually plays Bard. Both can easily do hardcore and have done NM without much issue.

Suggested Difficulty: Would ideally like Nightmare
Suggested Roster/Preferred Classes:
1. Azzy – HC+ at least, CoA, prefer Rogue
2. Rebecca (me) – HC+/NM, CoA, prefer Monk, Poly Druid, Cleric, Wizard(s) (Bard if party doesn’t have one)
3. Mitchell – HC+/NM, CoA, prefer Dwarf fighter
4. TBD – will gear to min HC/HC+
5. NightGod - Elf Wizard/Wizard
6. NightGod's Son - Bard

Total Synergy Tokens: 3 CoAs/CoGF
Other Notes: Rebecca Loaner tokens available – Lute of Free Fury, Druid Poly Relic Neck, Nugget sets, Defender sets, lots of fillers for no/low rank slots (rares+), Belts of Ogre Mage Power, Rings of Fervor, Canteens, Consumables, 1 extra Green Kilt, might set if needed for level, 1 ring of heroism, 1 ring of fateful heroism

Currently have an Ocarina for the bard and a Charm of Heroism for the level. With the way To Hit works in VTD, I lean towards recommending the Ocarina for the extra damage over the split to hit/damage with the Lute, though Free Fury gives him the ability to attack instead of just dropping scrolls, but I'll leave it up to him.

I have one CoA, as well, forgot to mention that in the top post.

I snagged human Wizard.

One of the other players already got Bard, so my son is in as Dorf Fighter. Can swap to regular Fighter if that works better for Mitchell.

OK, I'm losing my mind or something. I'm in this run, my son isn't. I think I was conflating V2a and V2b.

I have Elf Wizard picked to make sure we have Alertness rolling every fight. I also have an extra full set of TEs available, as well as a Charm of Heroism and various other bits if anyone needs something to fill out their character sheet.

Based on the character selections on the event site, we have cleric, druid and pally, so plenty of healing. Assuming the other decent damage dealers have decent gear (which it looks like based on who's in this thread, at least), Nightmare should be well within our range.
