np. I normally play Elf Wizard (wanted a change this time) and its not fun if you can't sling a fireball at someone.

Does the Elf Wizard have a staff of power? If not, I can also lend that.

She's got a +3 Staff of Focus. I'll ask if she wants to use the Staff of Power. She does the Crown of Expertise though and could use it for a second use of Alertness.

The way Alertness works, you have to cast it as you enter the room (even before initiative is rolled). So in VTD, all you have to do is tell the DM you're using the Staff of Power to cast Alertness as a scroll in every room. From that point forward, the DM adds +10 to the party initiative and the Elf Wizard can use their Staff of Focus as their weapon in all combats. Crown of Expertise can be used however they want, but won't be needed for Alertness.

For planning purposes, does that mean all 3 players using your 3 tickets will have CoA and you have a 4th to lend?

I also have 1 COA. Not sure where that puts us though in the total.

If Larry confirms that his +1 and +2 have a CoA and he still has one extra, then we're up to 9. I'm assuming your +1 does not. We still don't know who the last 2 players are, but if one of them has a CoA we'd be set.

Correct, I only have the 1 CoA and two tickets. I'm working my way towards a second, but legendary crafts are tough!
