TOPIC: VTD Suggestion

VTD Suggestion 1 month 2 weeks ago #1

Have played 5 VTD runs at this point.

Every run was well executed. We even had major technical difficulties in one run and the team still pulled off a great run.

There was a common comment that came up in every run, and I believe there is a simple solution.

Every run there were mentions of people not being able to see the puzzle elements well.

A good example comes in the "pairing puzzle". There were details in the images there were difficult to make out, especially on a small screen like an IPAD.

Even the Rouge clue was used to clarify a few.

My suggestion - If a High Res image was available upon request that the DM could send the party it might really help.

We had at least 1 party with someone that was partially visually impaired and I know it would have helped them.

Just a thought.

I think this is a good idea, and also would help if the Golem camera goes out for a couple minutes, the players could look over the static image. (In the case of videos, as long as the DM's stuff is working, they could still play you videos, and the DM could read any NPC dialogue, and provide all the Scroll clues, etc. as well.
I came here to sing and collect tokens, and I'm alllll out of money.

Let me see which is the best way to implement something like this. I really designed the experience for a monitor and immersion, but it would be nice for smaller screen folks to have a solution. We are also trying to get better resolution out of Zoom...but that is probably a long shot.

Stay tuned.
