First, I started a new thread in the 2019 GHC forum to get organized.
Second, I copy/pasted the first post from that thread here. If I missed anyone who expressed interest, or if your interest has changed, please let me know.

We have about 3 weeks before registration starts for VIGs. July 20th at noon CT. Their site says noon CST, but think they mean CDT. Here's what we need to decide.

1. One mini-marathon or 2? We have 15 people who have expressed interest. If don't overlap, some of the original 10 might want to do it twice. Or it's possible some group would want ghost a spot or two and run it short-handed. You'd still want to buy up all 10 tickets or you could have a random newbie join the adventures and kind of kill the marathon aspect.

2. When? I'm inclined to suggest Friday. We could also do one on Thursday and/or Saturday. I know I would like to do the ironman run on Thursday (which looks like 4 is the max number of runs that can be done in 1 day). I would suggest early enough so as to finish prior to 7pm for those who want to attend the Trent Tokens celebration at 7pm. Below are the available times.

Warning: Spoiler! [ Click to expand ]

3. The final decision is whether we have any VIGs willing to buy out the runs we need on July 20th or do we wait until July 27th when TD tickets are available to all. Either way, it's before Gen Con.

I would be fine with that, but also wouldn't mind if we ran them closer and you went for 2:12 or 2:24 E2 to go with the 4:25 E3. But I'm ok no matter which way we go.

As for dinner, I'm planning to do the Trent Tokens party at 7pm and then possibly try to get in a late night run after that.

Let's start to firm this up. James is willing to host a mini-marathon on Friday with runs at 2pm and 4:25pm. James, if I've misstated that, please correct me.

We had a number of people interested in this type of run, so let's see if there's enough interest to do this twice. If there is, I'm willing to buy out two runs for Thursday (unless we have another VIG willing to do so). I do not have VIG, so would try my best for the two earliest back to back runs I can grab.

So for everyone who originally signed up, please respond with one of the following choices.
1. No, changed my mind and won't be able to fit this into my schedule.
2. Yes, sign me up, I'm able to do the Friday runs.
3. Yes, sign me up, I'm able to do the Thursday runs.
4. Yes, sign me up, I'm able to do both.

Since registration starts on July 20, please respond by 8pm CT on July 19. That will allow any VIGs to adjust their schedule as needed before registration.

I assume the runs will be at least Nightmare (Epic possibly at the discretion of the group as a whole assuming Epic is even available at GHC).
Details will be worked out before the con, but assume you will play the same character in both runs with no resetting of hp, spells or abilities in between. In effect, treat it like a 14 room continuous run. If everyone dies in room 7 of E2, we'll likely need Pelor to intervene so they can continue on.

I will modify the first post to show the original sign-up order and then the status of current sign-ups. I don't expect the top 10 to all express interest in both days, so we should be able to accommodate others. I don't know how the group feels about it, but while I am interested in this on both days, I would give up one of my days to allow another person to experience the format. I'm not sure how others feel about that, so may leave that up to personal choice, but normally this community likes to help everyone out.

OK, so I will confirm my interest in #4 and sign up for both, but once one of the days fills up, if there's more interest I'm willing to give up a day. My class preferences for now will be Elf Wizard, Wizard, Barbarian, Paladin in that order. Will adjust based on what others want.

I'm still in. I would like to do both days, but will give up Friday spot if there is enough interest.

Class preference: Barbarian, Rogue, Fighters.

If I get in both days, would like to play Rogue Friday and Barbarian Thursday.

Really:
1) Barbarian for Thursday
2) Rogue for Friday if there is an open spot.

Thanks for organizing this, Dave and James. Brian and I were on the alternates/second team list. We won’t be at GHC on Thursday. We would like to play on Friday, if there is room for us. The Friday 2:12/4:25 runs (or thereabouts) sound perfect, as we’d also like to go to the Trent Tokens event. I prefer Barbarian (but could do DF/Fighter or even Paladin if necessary) and Brian is a Rogue. We’re Nightmare geared and could probably handle Epic with strong healers in the party. If the Friday runs fill up with others who expressed interest before us, we’ll totally understand. Thanks.

Please definitely put BeLinda & Brian ahead of me for Friday priority then (especially for preferred classes)

Stay tuned. I know Braxton and I are willing to give up our Friday spots, but that assumes we can get to 10 people on Thursday. If everyone who originally expressed interest still wants to do this and we get enough interest in Thursday, we could still pull this off.

Right now if we had 3 more people interested in both day plus 5 other people prefer Thursday we could pull this off and accommodate everyone who originally expressed interest.

Thanks very much, Braxton! If we do get in these runs, we’re happy to talk more about preferred classes. I saw after I posted that you were interested in Rogue for these runs. Brian is happiest as a Rogue, especially because he got the Legendary necklace at Origins, but he might have some flexibility. And if you want to go back to your main of Barbarian, I have no problem being a DF or Fighter for the day. We were alternates, so want to be accommodating, as much as we love our Barbarian and Rogue main builds.

If the Thursday run happens, I'll be barbarian there, and then I won't care much what I play on Friday.
