Figurine of Power: Dragon might be nice, it pairs well with the psychic power of auto-passing a will save and it's not easy to find at the moment (printed in 2013).
I play Rogue. Occasionally I even play Rogue well.

Current Rogue Build

Hypothetically, what if TPTB put up an annual community vote on a list of key items in short supply (super old UR's, tokens necessary for legendary transmutes, etc), with some locked in volume of reprints per year (say 2-3)?

If maintaining value for holders of older tokens is a concern, there's always the possibility to "up-shift" by making a former UR into a transmute, or increasing a former transmute's cost.

For transparency, as someone who's only been playing since GenCon 2019 along with the rest of my team, we're looking to advance through the difficulty tiers over the coming years and something like this would give us an avenue to do so.

There are generally a small number (3-5) of reprint tokens in each year's token pool. It's expected that when supply dwindles there will be a reprint if it's a highly used token. There's never any benefit placed on the previous version for transmuting or anything of that nature. It's just expected that tokens will be reprinted

The intent of the voting model was more to increase community engagement and visibility of the reprint process instead of focusing the feedback from the most vocal on the forums. This would have the added benefit of bringing older tokens to the attention of newer players. Also, voting could have flexibility of being spread out over the course of the year (ie pick 1 out of these 3, with multiple votes being run per year).

The comment regarding upshifting was a concession to longer term players if the entrenched community has concerns about secondary market value. A different concession could be a minimum TD level to vote (say 3) to prevent shenanigans.

Selfishly, tossing out a +1 for the +2 Sacred Sling reprint.

This is basically what happens during token design.

There are no promises but people weigh in on what they want.

Either a 3 year cycle reprinting Dragonscale, or preferable a new similar set that includes Barbarians (drake skin?)

That would be fine - but I’d like to see it updated for the modern era by removing the “as a scroll” feature.

As is it’s basically an inexhaustible 1/room wand of magic missile or wand of alertness.

We could just remove the “as a scroll” proviso and leave the name the same thereby updating existing ones.

I'd aim much more for a parallel reprint. Similar to existing armor sets possibly make a medium armor version and heavy armor version of the torso and have the 3 piece set give elemental protection to a different element over fire.

Shock, Acid, Cold are all common dragon breathweapon types. Maybe create an acid protection set?

I mean that would change it from a 1 trick pony into an actual viable staff for both Wizards to use.

I dunno if allowing the Wizard one free Magic Missile per combat is too strong for an UR token tho. It's only 20 damage under the average for a sliding character...

Not sure how much common tokens are considered, but Masterwork Bolt would be nice ( Masterwork Arrow seems to have been reprinted significantly more often)

That is a definitely valid suggestion.

If masterwork bolt is reprinted I would expect to see an uncommon and rare bolt in the printing year as well. Seems like making this a bolt year could be good
