TOPIC: Origins Transmute questions??

I will be at Origins Friday afternoon and all day Saturday/ I had planned on doing several transmutes while there. I have never attended Origins, so I had a few questions.

1. Are there specific hours of the "transmute desk"?
2. If I drop my transmutes off on Friday afternoon, what is the likelihood of them being finished with the transmutes by Saturday evening?
3. Are they able to handle all levels of transmute on the same timeline as mentioned above (consumables to Legendary)?

1.as of right now my best guess is 10am-6pm Thur-saturday (10am-noon pick up only sunday)
2. depends how much is in front of you. Normally yes it should be done(98% of the time, just depends on the amount you drop off as well), but no promises.
3. yes, but if the legendary calls for 25K eltrich bar, and you need to make that before you put it the bag. 25 1K bars is not the same. it slows everything down. Does that make sense?

I'm a noob and this will be my first transmute at an event. Do we need to fill out any paperwork beforehand to do transmutes at Origins? Or do we just show up at the room with our tokens all bagged up and go from there?

You can show up can fill out paperwork and add slips. Though it will save you time if you do it ahead of time. You can print of both the forum and labels ahead of time.

Look for Token Bag Labels PDF for trade goods if you have a lot you need to print.
I should note this is not mine I just use it when needed.

Why is that? Last year you could. I might have missed an update saying you couldn't but that would surprise me. Because I think I would have remembered that. Have a post you can reference? Not saying you are wrong just looking for something that proves you are correct.

Ok, I must be confusing it with gen con and trading in for chocolate backed trade goods.

PAX= as of right now, no transmutes
Origins= everything that is able to be made/transmuted
Gen Con =3 star and higher....no trade goods
GameHoleCon=everything that is able to be made/transmuted (as long as supplies don't run out)

Do you want or need a slip for the COA 1 to 1 exchange if that is all you are doing?
