This may not be a big deal, but if N1 is not going to be offered at GHC, you might want to throw something into the descriptions that these modules can be enjoyed on their own. Right now the descriptions focus a little bit on how this is 2 of 3 and 3 of 3 in a story arc. Some people could be turned off if they think part 1 is needed for their enjoyment of the run.

Tickets will be available through GHC website starting July 28th -- and NOT td.events.

The cost will be $58.

I am sorry you are not using your new site... I thought at Origins you got it working great with just a few quirks left to resolve. I especially liked your ability to transfer tickets. Will GHC be using paper tickets?

GHC is usually paper tickets(unless GHC has changed and not announced it yet).
the reason for the TD events site, was because origins website completely sucks. i think it was built in 2002 and never upgraded.

Curious myself, Depending on what they needed i might consider a part time or setup or teardown shift for GHC. GHC is 11 hour drive for me but i'd consider driving in a day early or so if i could get a really cheap deal on hotel if they're short on setup people. I'm far enough in Gen Con prep that GHC is on the far side of that gulf in my calendar.
We're all the kind of people who enjoy the game on a "meta" level. We like talking about the game year-round. We buy tokens. We enjoy crafting. We get together during the off-season if we can. We are a very skewed demographic that way. -Raven

GHC is going partially electronic this year. Also GHC has a no refund policy.

Prefer the td events functionality.

You're right, no full refunds, but you can get credit for future purchases. Below is from their FAQ

Can I get a refund on badges or game tickets now that pre-registration has closed?
No. But we will issue you a credit for a returned badge or returned game tickets that you may spend on a future badge or future game tickets.

Refund credit doesn’t carry over to the next year though. At least it didn’t last year. I contacted support and they refunded to my PayPal though. But something to keep in mind. It would be nice if it worked more like GC.

Hey I really want to volunteer, I have a wedding on Saturday in Iowa though and can’t be there Sunday although I would be willing to get a place and help out with local install on both Tuesday and Wednesday, in addition to Thursday and Friday. Is there a good way that I can help? The volunteer Portal requires Sunday participation for even part time volunteers.

I think you can contact Lori and ask if that would be possible.

Hopefully with the volunteer site they will be able to work on the back end to automate volunteer scheduling, eventually allowing volunteers to better customize what they can volunteer for.

Personally I'm often unable to accommodate either part-time or full-time schedules, so I don't volunteer at all, even though I'd be willing with different schedules.

I just volunteered PT for GHC, but put in a note that I'd be willing to do a full shift each day Thur-Sat if I can skip Sunday. That seems it would be better for them so I can be DM for a room the entire time.

In my experience, Lori has always been very accommodating and gracious. I'm sure if you contact her and there is any way they can use you, She will allow you to volunteer.

Could all three be run, but not at the same time

Thursday N1 all day, N2 half day, N3 half day
Friday N1 half day, N2 all day, N3 half day
Saturday N1 half day, N2 half day, N3 all day

The set up and tear down would be challenging, but it would reduce the number of coaches, DMs and NPCs needed.
D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

Let them trap us. We have our swords. - Elric of Melnibone.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir

Agree.

td events refund is easy and does not require contacting someone.

GenCon carried over without contacting someone.

Prefer td evnts since it is the easiest.
