TOPIC: Adventurer's Guild token

Adventurer's Guild token 5 years 8 months ago #1

I didn't seem to find this anywhere, but I could be mistaken. It was stated that the Adventurer's Guild token could be used at GenCon. Could someone point me in the right direction?

Here are two spots where you can read more:

truedungeon.com/store
"One (1) Limited-edition “Adventurers’ Guild” token. An AG token can also be turned in at any TD Con event for one of two other tokens:
1) 1x Treasure Chip token
2) Limited-edition Rare token only available in Treasure Generators"

That page also says:

“Adventurers’ Guild” tokens. The token can be turned in at Gen Con Indy 2018 for either a Treasure Pull or a Uncommon adventure Participation token.

So...I guess take your pick as to which one it means...LOL. Last year, if I recall correctly, I turned some in for Rare Completion Tokens.

tokendb.com/token/adventurers-guild/
"A lagniappe for large token purchases. It may confer special perks or may be exchangeable for special tokens."

From a practical standpoint at least last year you take your token to the place TD is doing treasure pulls that are not at the end of a run. I think generally this is by the TD store. You then choose to either use it to draw from the treasure chest or ask for the special token. Last year's token was not one of the normal completion tokens, it was a different treasure chest only token.

It would be neat if you could turn it in for your transmorph of choice, but that's probably toomuch to hope for

The sheet of paper I received with my order did say Limited Edition Rare Token only available in the Treasure Generators. So based on that I plan on turning two in for the Dragonward Amulet and Ale Drinkers Earcuff.

Sounds like a good plan. I wait until towards the end of the con, then check to see what kind of balance of completion tokens I have, then use the tokens to balance out my collection. :)

If the pull mix is similar to the data I've seen from Origins there should be a fair amount of the new shin Tokens. The Amulet and Earcuff seem harder to get. Could be a different mix at Gen Con though. I like the fact that Jeff's got more treasure only Tokens this year. Can't wait until he decides to throw a few UR shin Tokens in the boxes!

I didn't even know about the Ale Drinker's Earcuff, I haven't seen one and I don't think it is on tokendb?

But yeah, UR shins token would be awesome (treasure-box only of course).

I don't even want to consider what that would cost on the secondary market.

It isn't the tokendb yet. I don't know how rare it is but of the 1200+ pulls we have on the google doc there was only 1 pulled and only 4 Dragonward Amulets pulled. It could be the mix was slightly off and there may be more amulets and earcuff's at Gen Con.
