TOPIC: Worst Case Scenario

Getting closer, and we all know now that our True Dungeon tickets are this year Electronic. (Tied to our Badges)

Now I like many have been attending Gen Con for many, many years and like others have experienced the issues of Gen Con's questionable onsite computer systems. The slowness, crashing or just not working correctly.

This is my question.

In a worst case scenario, lets say we show up on Thursday (Or any day) and learn the computer system has gone down, told that a "Tech" is aware of the issue and working on it. But it could take some time.

What is our fallback in such a scenario like this.

The system works offline supposedly. They just record the info and upload it at a later time with they can get online.

If they all of LOS loses power then the dungeon would have to be halted as well because they need power.

If the reg computers just lose power, I would guess they would record everyone's badge but maybe they would just hold up runs....that is an interesting but I imagine they have a plan.

I’m planning on taking a printed copy of my events just in case. I just figure some kind of proof is the best I can do.
