Here are the proposed start-time schedules for the various events at Origins. If you are a volunteer you will have special ticket slots set aside (all in 9:00pm hour) for the new "best of" adventure that only volunteers can buy (until 2 weeks before Origins). And/or you can play one of the other Moongate or Dancing Among Stones adventures if those tickets are available when you are not volunteering. The start times for Moongate and Dancing are off-set, so you can play the other adventure(s) before or after your shift.

Astral Journey to the Bliss

Thursday - Noon to 9:36pm*
Friday - Noon to 9:36pm*
Saturday - 9:00 to 6:36pm

* All 9:00pm hour slots can only be purchased by volunteers until two weeks before Origins.

We will be premiering a new “best of” two-hour adventure (“Astral Journey to the Bliss”) that will serve as a “bridge” adventure from the modules presented during the 2017-18 adventure season to the brand-new adventures premiering at Gen Con 2018 seven weeks later. XP is not available, but there will be two new Participation Tokens (Uncommon and Rare) for this adventure.

The Participation Tokens for Origins 2018 are shown below. If for some reason we run out of the Rare Participation Tokens, we will substitute a 3x Treasure Chip (but there should be plenty!). One of these is only available to Patrons after their "Into the Shadowlands" adventure.

NOTES

Into the Shadowlands
- This is a "best of" adventure guided by your personal DM (Jeff Martin - TD creator) who takes you on a side journey into the plane of Shadow. This adventure is for Patron token supporters only. Some tickets on the one Saturday night slot will be reserved for Patrons who are volunteering.

True Raid - The LoriGorgon - To make it a little less crazy, we have knocked this down to two 10-person teams. You will face the most dreaded monster in TD history -- the LoriGorgon! These tickets will go on sale at the normal times with the adventure tickets. However, since there are a limited supply, most will get snatched up by Patrons and Adv. Guild members since they have early access to tickets. You will only be able to buy one ticket.

True Dungeon Moot & 2018 Preview - Jeff Martin (TD creator) will share his thoughts on TD's recent expansion, and where it could be heading -- while asking for feedback and ideas from attendees. Jeff will also show some photos and artifacts from the old days, and ask for any questions. Finally, some "teasers" will be shown for the 2018-2019 adventure year, and more details will be given about the story-arc in future years.

Please give me your thoughts on these proposed events and their schedule -- as well as any other ideas or events you would like to see at our annual gathering of token enthusiasts at Origins!

Exciting! Tons to do at Origins.

20 players is a good number for the raid, I think.

You should expect a lot of transmuting to happen at Origins too, since it'll be the first con after tokens arrive :)
Classes Played: Barbarian (65 times), Monk (56), Ranger (33), Rogue (25), Cleric (21), Fighter (13), Druid (12), Paladin (11), Dwarf Fighter (10), Bard (7), Elf Wizard (2), Wizard (2)

True Raid is for anyone who can get a ticket. They are limited in number, so there might not be many left by the time the general public can buy one. Patrons get the first crack, and then members of the Adventurers' Guild.

I like it a lot. I'm only going to be there Thursday, but with luck I can get a run for Dancing, Moongate and Astral. Not likely to get a Raid slot, but it's not impossible.

Hoping for a similar format at GHC. Will and Druegar have been very accommodating in allowing Coaches to get runs in at GHC, but this would make life much simpler.
D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

Let them trap us. We have our swords. - Elric of Melnibone.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir

I volunteered at PAX South and they alternated shifts and it worked out incredibly well. I was able to get in 4 runs. So you should have no problem in Gamehole con and I will course will see you there but this new format theyve got is incredible for allowing volunteers to also getting runs
