As always, if you find issue with the tokens in the app, please post it. There are over 3500 entries in my token file, and I am sure there are typo's and missing entries. I will try and get all the corrections in before the next TD event.

This! VTD isn't a new startup thing anymore, it's well established and a major source of ticket revenue, and some of that revenue should be devoted to fully supporting the technology stack it needs.

I don't know what arrangements (if any) TD has with the people that do the apps/character builder website and how they integrate into VTD but I get the feeling there's a level of fan creation. Problem with that is...well ..shit happens. What happens if Cranston decides to hang up his coding shoes?

In my line of work I see small businesses struggle with tech and how to scale it as their business grows. Any core elements of a business should have some continuity plan in place, hopefully TD has one for the apps and VTD.

My hope would be that the people who are doing it to support the community and TD would either:

1. Sell their code to TDA for them to hire someone to maintain it (or encourage community support still while maintaining the rights to the code base)

2. Open source it so individuals can contribute features/functionality and update token information.

Now, you'd still want some sort of control to avoid malicious code being introduced (or just code that is flat out wrong - e.g., I have all normal items but I hit for 150 damage, I can never fail a will save, etc.), and that's where code review would occur and someone would be the branch maintainer.

Or people will just need to carry the banner and restart from scratch after talking to TDA about the backend APIs that are available to build something new, standardized across platforms, etc.

I wish I know how to, I’d love to help in that aspect but it is way beyond me.
