The NFL season starts Sept 4th. When should we do the draft? I'd recommend some time between the 28th of August and Sept 2nd.

It would need to be after the 30th for me to make it. (Apologies for adding possible constraints, obviously if that is the only time that works I'll figure something out or have it autodraft.)

One more complication is Labor day is the 1st and some people might be out then.

Anyone know of a good tool for figuring out days for a draft? Something like that would be great for working out gaming nights too

We could use Doodle, when2meet.com, rallly.co - all of those work. I will be out on vacation starting 9/1, but we can absolutely find something that work.

OK we have our new 12 league members. Daniel and Jordan I've sent you invites via Yahoo to take over ownership of Tano's Tumblers and A Warrior Shaman. I see we already have some draft scheduling talk.
I have a draft at 5pm on Sunday 8/31, so I'm open 8/30-9/1 outside of 5-7pm on Sun 8/31.

Traditionally we have drafted sometime Labor Day weekend. Last year we took votes for priority and then picked at date, it looked like this:

"As for draft dates it looks most have weighed in on preferences. Based on the responses I offer the following options for a vote. I feel like we have finished in 2 hrs or less the last few years. Please realize it's likely impossible for everyone to agree on a perfect time.

Option 1) Fri night 8/30 @ 8:30pm EST

Option 2) Sat night 8/31 @ 7pm EST

Option 3) Sun afternoon 9/1 @ 1pm EST

Can adjust the times later if one of the days works but a start time excludes enough people."

Let's start with narrowing down a day, then a time. Post your preferred day between Sat 8/30 and Mon 9/1. Daniel if you want to set up a when2meet.com account for the league have it, otherwise lets here your preferences here.
