I’ve played a couple runs as druid since the changes and have observed some others as DM, and I gotta say the changes are amazing. Iktomi’s is crazy in terms of token consolidation.

On top of shifting all damage to hit a vulnerability or avoid a resistance, I’ve been able to: avoid 10-15 points of retribution damage per round as an air or earth elemental; deal extra retribution damage as a fire elemental (and the monster was weak to fire!), hold my breath during a poison gas attack, and regen 2 almost every combat by using my second form to use the troll trinket. I haven’t come across a double monster combat yet, but +50% damage will be huge.

Iktomi’s is really, really good.

Does Air Elemental attacks avoid retribution damage? You're still making melee attacks, not ranged attacks.

To clarify that statement, are you saying it's under powered because Viv's does full damage to both targets, even though:
1) druid can achieve more total +damage than fighter
2) Ikotmi's Druid can cast a damage spell in addition to making the attack against 2 monsters,
3) Iktomi's Druid can cast a healing spell in addition to making the attack against 2 monsters
4) Iktomi's can alternatively choose to make a melee attack against a flier, which a fighter can't do without drinking a potion
5) Iktomi's can alternatively choose to ignore retribution damage, which a fighter cannot do without equiping different gear

With another read through, no the attacks have to be made against a ranged monster. Earth elemental still covers it, of course.
