One of my most memorable in person runs was years ago when i waitlisted into a non lethal run that was vols and their kids. They were surprised i was willing to go along with non lethal. I just wanted to see the rooms i didn't see before (this was when there was puzzle/combat versions of runs). I hung back and watched the kids just have a blast.

In VTD as a DM i've more than a few times had runs with a few kids in the run. Definitely interesting energy and one i'd DM for, good idea on having a helper DM, though a vet parent could probably help, one the DM or vol could message back and forth to help guide the party if needed on hey kid X is talking over everyone else or what have you.

Last year I did a special birthday party run for my kids and family. It was my son's 11th birthday. TD did it up special for them and the DM was AMAZING!!

I think this is a wonderful idea and if you need two more boys, 10 and 12, I know they would enjoy an all kids run. They are veterans of VTD.

I have gotten a hold of Lori and she says that a kids run is just fine. There is a Saturday, August 27th at 11 that is a normal only run. If anyone else wants to have their kids join an only kids run, join in! I'll go ahead and start a group thread for this run.
