TOPIC: V7-b - July 8-10 - are tickets really going on sale this weekend?

I was picking up an extra run for this weekend - when I noticed V7b listed on TD.events.

It says tickets go on sale this week - but it’s the first I heard of it. Also - kinda close to buying our GenCon tickets as I know lots of us put some “stress” on those credit cards this weekend.

Did I miss the confirmation announcement in all the GenCon hubbub?

Could we postpone ticket sales a week to prepare perhaps?

Ah - it got lost amongst all the GenCon threads - I usually only check forums by Recent Topics.

I think a lot of people are going to “find out” when logging into the events this weekend.

If it is anything like V1-6b's then no. But who knows. I wish it wasn't during runs, that is my bigger gripe than coming on the heels of GC ticket sales, but I am not looking to get much in V7b (1 ticket) but since I only want one. I would hate to be on a run when they go on sale.

Well, if it's normal, the tickets will go on sale at noon and the first run doesn't start until 5pm. I agree though that it did kind of sneak up on us pretty quickly.

Not everyone is a patron.

I'd prefer some separation between play weekends and buying runs as it requires switching gears.
