As for the proposed trade, I'm not an expert on current prices, so could be totally wrong, but it feels a little unbalanced. The IS Silver Nugget appears to be selling for $250-300. The items you propose trading probably add up to somewhere around $225? (Although I don't really know what the old turkey leg is going for these days, which could change the math.) That said, it's not that far off. No reason you can't propose it and see if people make offers or counter-offers.

What about the trade for Medallion of Furious Attack. Trent is selling one for $240. Is that about the going price for it?

Since you already have 1 DR, you can replace IS Amber Cube with Venomguard Greaves (or UR greaves in 2023) to offset the gauntlet damage. This way you can de-prioritize DK Gauntlets and their +1 str. The retribution on the DK set bonus is alright, but there are better ways of spending your money. I do recommend the boots and mail though.

If you don't get the barb relic, Medallion of Valhalla has been going for cheap lately. You'd get +2 Str, +3 Con, -1 Dex. It can be used with other melee classes as well.

Your plan to boost your saves is good. I agree with Belinda on grabbing slot expanders too, those are almost always a great option. In the meantime you could grab Earcuff of Retort or FOP Parrot to save you against a failed save vs charm.

As for the proposed trade, I don't have the slightest clue.

Be on the lookout for Str boosting tokens from v8b and v10b.

Medallion of Furious Attack seems to be going for about $250, so getting it for $240 certainly isn't a bad deal.

Personally, I like the Death Knight Gauntlets because they're +4 Str and therefore self-executing--they add +2 to melee hit and +2 to melee/thrown weapon damage, no need to look for a +1 Str to balance it out. But Gauntlets of the Midgard Serpent plus something to negate the poison damage is certainly a viable and cheaper option. Totally up to you to prioritize which upgrades make most sense at this point.

The reason I picked the UR upgrades I did is because there're current tokens that I can get PYPs on 8K auctions without paying premium.

I'd get Kilt of Dungeonbane. Other legs stuff is just so ... not Dungeonbane. Can put that money into class specific stuff instead, but KoD is always useful for any build. Sure, there's Lucky Kilt that is cheaper and saves are an issue, but saves can be gotten elsewhere if spend money in future where KoD doesn't seem easy to replace.

IS Amber Cube won't really matter anymore, can be STR, damage, or saves.

Fiendish Charm can be charm that gives +2 STR and -1 AC or whatever.

Saves are low. HP isn't high. To hit is plenty high but damage isn't particularly high given to hit.

You could do lucky kilt and lucky charm (replacing vitality) to get +5 to saves and hp. Kilt is going for ~$55 on Trent and TDtavern, Charm is still PYP and might be available in some forum shops. If you're concerned about losing the free movement from the pantaloons, you could always do Boots of Free Action for $4, knowing that the HP loss from swapping out the Shoes of Nethercraft would be offset by the lucky set bonus. 75 HP is more than enough for nightmare, especially with barbarian damage reduction.

If you want to boost saves further, you might sub out bead of whole vision for Dire Bear for $5. To make sure you can still hit ethereal, a moon dog figurine would cover you. The Imp is pretty situational, and dungeons with multiple ethereal enemy rooms are even more unlikely, so you'd probably be fine with the 1/game moon dog.

In terms of strict cost, what you are offering (4 turkey plus 3 bits) is likely more than what you are seeking.

The trouble is that you have to find someone who had what you want and desires what you have.

A tall order, as those who sought relic turkey legs likely already have them.

Also, BeLinda makes a good point about the uncertainty of the original turkey let's value.

I'd be very willing to do the trade. I'll post it and see what happens. I have no use for the tinker bits since I didn't pull any at Gen Con. 3 I have i got from 2 VTD runs. I'll be running 2 more VTDs but since tinker bits will be gone after 2022, no point in keeping them.

These are doing the least:

The shield is meaningless. Can look to run Bliss Bull Shield (though I don't think website adds STR for running it in ranged). Get +1 STR somewhere else.

Assumedly, Charm of Health becomes Lucky Charm. Fiendish Charm can be completion token for +2 STR and -1 AC. Or, +1 STR with Bliss Bull. Ioun Stone either +1 or +2 STR or +2 dmg.

Other stuff I can think of off the top of my head would cost non-trivial $$. Neck could be Stu-Pendous where Orbits replaces Rum and still be all even with two more IS, but neck could be a lot of things once go UR+.
