Things are very much up in the air due to the COVID-19 issue. Much will be decided in the late Spring of 2021 as we see how the vaccine situation develops. I don't want to tempt anyone with health issues to expose themselves to a possible COVID-19 infection. Thanks for your patience and understanding. We just have to play this one by ear, but I will be sure to give folks a six month notice for planning purposes.

Thanks Jeff. The more notice the better. Often I plan my limited vacation time out a year in advance. Most cons are known that far out. Of course, I understand with current circumstances that may not be possible.
Classes Played: Barbarian (65 times), Monk (56), Ranger (33), Rogue (25), Cleric (21), Fighter (13), Druid (12), Paladin (11), Dwarf Fighter (10), Bard (7), Elf Wizard (2), Wizard (2)

Hmmm. This got me thinking as to what the event will be and where.

My current theory - the adventure will be based on Little Shop of Horrors and take place in a real Dentists' office with Jeff as Orin Scrivello DDS.

It all fits now...

I’m hoping for a True Dungeon Celebration like event. Smaller, more relaxed. Less stressful and hectic than doing it at GenCon.

On the other hand I get that not everyone eligible could make it to another event. Especially our international friends.

Let them trap us. We have our swords. - Elric of Melnibone.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir

I would love another TDC the venue last time was a big selling point convincing my wife to me collect teeth this time.

I'm inclined to agree, but it certainly feels like there are far more than 250 sets of teeth out there

I'd love another TDC or True Realm also. I've got several friends that only do GENCON, but are ready and willing to head to Carbondale again. :)

I am thinking that the number of sets and cost to hold an event may mean having the event in conjunction with another convention.

There may well be more than 250. On the other hand, some of us ran many times at the last TDC. I'm particularly guilty. I and my son ran 6 times, which is the most that was physically possible. I know others ran a lot as well. The price per run was so low, it was just too tempting. If it were limited to one or two runs per person, that would help keep things manageable.
