Just came out on email.
COLUMBUS, OH – April 9, 2020 – The Game Manufacturers Association (GAMA), the non-profit organization serving the hobby games industry, today announced that it will postpone the 46th Annual Origins Game Fair, originally scheduled for June 17-21, 2020 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, to October 7-11, 2020.
D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

Let them trap us. We have our swords. - Elric of Melnibone.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir

This seems wise, and I'm glad Origins isn't canceled outright.

I hope this isn't too disruptive to True Dungeon, but I'll save speculation and wait for an official update.

Going to be interesting. Gencon in August, PaxWest(?) in September, Origins in October, Gamehole in November.

It definitely feels too soon for GenCon to cancel or postpone.

That said, I hadn't considered the implications of Origins proximity to GHC, and how it might affect TD. I hope they can do both. Also wondering how the players would feel about conventions so close together.

I'm definitely hoping they're still able to do Origins. That's the only one I'll probably be able to go to, and it won't be nearly as much fun without True Dungeons there.

And then there is the 2021 token and module development cycle to consider.

I am sad! I thought June things may return to normal. I was really looking forward to Origins.

Gotta cancel my hotel and airfare now... dang it!

I don’t know if I can make it in October, got another con the week before.

Until we actually see a large event happen in the US, I'm considering any convention dates to be written in pencil.

I’m disappointed too. I’m going to wait and see if TD is going to be there before deciding on going. I’m glad to find out now on it being moved rather then wait until May 1st

I'm kinda interested in what happens for Patrons or I suppose more accurately people who have purchased Patron codes, especially if changing dates leaves them unable to attend now.
