TOPIC: Gen Con Badge Purchased but now volunteering Question

Not sure if this is the appropriate place for this question, my apologies. I purchased my Gen Con badge to get into the Housing Slaughtery. With the changes TD recently announced for volunteering rewards, my TD partner John and I decided to send in our application for Gen Con (Origins, Gen Con, Game Hole, Trifecta in play). Provided we are accepted, am I correct in assuming a badge issued in my name from True Dungeon will electronically kick back a refund to my Gen Con account from my prior purchase? Totally OK with that as it can easily be used for my wife's badge purchase or events like TD Tickets. Additionally, TD just goes off my Gen Con account info, meaning I get to keep my 3 digit Con Number (i'm a dinosaur, same account since GC computerized) A Curious mind is inquiring

Badge refund policy differs from convention to convention. For Gen Con, their system will generally automatically pick up that you received a GM badge and will refund the one you purchased. If that doesn’t happen it usually means you have two Gen Con accounts. In that case please contact them and they can usually get that sorted out for you.

For all other conventions please email us and we will send you the pertinent instructions.

Thanks. Should have known there was an FAQ to look at. I should not be allowed at my computer while I have the plague. All common sense is currently rationed to survival basics like breathing and eating.
