That are in token dB? Just it.

There is also another artifact whose owner has passed and the description is now a note in memorial.

There are at least some tokens that aren’t in tokendb like Divine Favor (never seen one) and Hammer of Foss Altus (seen one) - maybe more.

The Hammer belongs to Jeff and his family. You might see it but technically it's not a gettable token. Hence it not being in the database.

No idea on the Divine Favor token but it MAY be related to the one artifact that can grant a deity's divine favor

If were talking about this ( tokendb.com/token/divine-favor-truecraft/ ) divine favor, its was a true craft intermediate step. If you mean the "other one", you'd have to ask the bagman for details as he's the one who has it ;) In either case, the coin is a different token entirely.

Pretty much just that one. It is an artifact. It is soul forged to one player. He doesn’t even know all its powers and capabilities at this point.

Also it's not listed in the database because the owner specifically asked that it not be recorded.

But every year he uses it adds a chance that it will become known to the masses. Someday we won't roll well on his Secrecy die roll...;)

That is so interesting and unique. I know the artifacts are a pain but I love the flavor they bring to the game

I wasn't aware it was a die roll :)

Some of us were aware, when he goes to pick up his tokens every year he has to roll and the roll gets harder. I keep waiting for him to fail.

This is probably nothing, but I looked at this more in an image editor.

There are some transparent "teal" (e.g. the pixel is coded as teal, but is rendered transparent due to the alpha channel being 0) in this image.

They are clustered around the existing visible teal pixels like so:

x
oo
oo

Where x is a visible teal pixel, and the o's are transparent teal pixels.

This occurs for the teal pixels at x, y of:

113, 80
180, 80
221, 80

The teal pixel at 288, 23 has 3 rather than 4 transparent teal pixels like so:

x
o
oo

The teal pixel at 342, 109 has no adjacent transparent teal pixels.

Also, the rectangle that would enclose the teal pixels is transparent white, whereas the rest of the images background is transparent black.

Has anyone given any thought to the "names" Druegar proposed in his relic naming image?

I've re-uploaded the image here with the teal pixels "enhanced" and with a little box around them on the right.

The names are in the same teal color.

Alphabetically:

Ann, Joe, Mary, Teddy, Vera, Zeb?

I couldn't find any anagrams of the first letters of the names.

Substituting letter of the alphabet by the position in the alphabet the names become:

1-14-14
10-15-5
13-1-18-25
20-5-4-4-25
22-5-18-1
26-5-2

These don't look like they could be dates to me.

This yields 34 numbers which is too many for GPS coordinates.

They don't seem to have any bearing on the constellation names.

FYI - I spent some time looking at the image at:

tokendb.com/token/relic-recipe-fragment/

I don't think there are any teal pixels in it.

Matthew Hayward wrote: Druegar went to pains to point out that not all Dark Knights are male, and did so basically in response to nothing I could tell (no one had asserted maleness or said "he" of the Dark Knight in the immediately preceding posts).

Are ya sure...?
nothing to see here

I went back and checked the context on this to see where the gender of the Dark Knight might have been mentioned leading into Druegar's statement:

Druegar wrote: Knights aren't always male, just ask Brienne of Tarth.
Was this post a clue? Or am I just messing with y'all...?

Leading into that, we had this stuff:

Mike Steele wrote: "The Dark Knight comes with special sight" by this, clearly, we need Batman with Night Vision Goggles to help. :)

Gendered mention of The Dark Knight - 14 hours before Druegar's response, however Druegar's response immediately followed another of Jeff's posts about Batman.

Jeff321 wrote: "The Dark Knight" reference = Batman? His goggles as previously mentioned?? Don't know.

Fiddy wrote: Hey guys, there is a New Moon during GenCon. Dark Knight could refer to that?

Here's the original post from Noodle that Jeff quoted that Druegar responded to:

Noodle wrote: Here's my interpretation of the riddle-poem:

When days are long and three stars bright
The Dark Knight comes with special sight
For bringing forth the pieces all
To eldest place before the fall

During the Summer (before Fall), bring all the pieces to Gencon to be rewarded with "special sight" (an eye slot item). Maybe you have to turn them in to someone specific (the Dark Knight)?

You have to find someone cosplaying as Batman, haha

D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

Let them trap us. We have our swords. - Elric of Melnibone.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir
