I have to admit I'm impressed with GenCon customer service. I bought a badge for my wife (this will be her second time at GenCon) and I'm using her wish list as a backup option for my own. Well it turns out I bought her badge into a new account and she can't log in to it. The account she can log in to doesn't have a badge. I found this out at 11AM Eastern Time (1 hour before event registration opens).

I called the GenCon number and got a standard "after hours" message, but then dialed the extension that I found in her badge registration email, and got straight to a person who merged the accounts. This all happened in about 5 minutes time, less than an hour before event registration opened.

So I'm ready to go in a bit less than 10 minutes... good luck everybody!
