So, is there going to be a dungeon we can buy tickets for AND an event for the 8k Patrons? All the side stuff will be fun, but If I can't get a ticket to the dungeon without being a Patron, I would most likely have to pass :(

I read it as an adventure for all. Patron events and non-Patron events.

BC, on second reading, that's how it looks to me as well. The Adventure is open to all, and in the afternoon of both days there are events just for the patrons (and maybe some other events open to all). I'm looking forward to seeing all the details. :)

Clearly the adventure is open to all - there can't be 500 8k orders, and it was indicated there are 500 slots available in the runs.

I'll be looking forward to volunteering information. Particularly how possible it will be to both volunteer and play.
D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

Let them trap us. We have our swords. - Elric of Melnibone.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir

There could be 500 8k orders....I HIGHLY doubt there are, but there could be. I do agree that the adventures seem to be open to all since it is not part of the Patron Events.

I'm not speaking of logical possibilities.

There are not 500 8k orders in one year.

If there were, it would mean the odds of getting a golden ticket were less than 1 in 10 per 8k pack, which is clearly not the case.

I am thinking it would be fun to play a 5 token challenge run. That would include any greed tokens and consumables. We tried a 2 man wizard version at GHC just on normal. It was surprising more enjoyable than I expected.

I also have an interest in joining as many runs as possible. I am currently geared as a Ranger but can be a ranged fighter as well.

There are two other things going on that weekend that may trump attending the celebration but I will have a better idea in early December on both.

I will suggest building a post in the Ranger and Fighter forums with your Build that you can link in your Signature so that you can easily be added to pre-built group lists. I expect most of the runs at Celebration will be fully prebuilt ahead of time with group cards pre-printed
