Is one sale worthy of fully changing up how the system works to the detriment of thousands of players? 1 attempted sale (so far) out of, what, 8,000 or so? Seems like a disproportionate response.

Legal would only be needed if it did become a problem. And putting the verbiage on the cards now would head off the defense of 'You didn't say I couldn't' later.

I will give anyone 100:1 odds against there ever being a lawsuit filed by True Adventures against someone for trying to sell an XP card - you pay now, I pay you in the event a suit is filed.

PM me if you'd like to send my your half of this bet.

Hmmm, I can see this scenario working. I send Matthew $1,000, I list an XP card, Jeff files a lawsuit, and then Jeff and I split the $100,000 windfall. :)

Would also give us a clear way to report ebay auctions as a TOC violation. Not suggesting any exessive measures just a simple "not for resale" on the xp cards.

Exactly this. Put it on the cards and you can ask Ebay to take them down without any questions. No need to worry about possible future lawyer usage, just a quick message (that anyone who comes across it could send, mind you) to Ebay for a TOS violation and the auction is gone.

Looks like they have removed the offer. I personally do have concern about people entering experience, room achieved or dungeon, that they didn't earn. This eBay auction would have taken it another step further.
