TOPIC: True Dungeon in 2020

So I talked to a few people about this and I thought it would be a good idea to create a post what will True Dungeon be like in 2020. What would be different? We can pull this up in 2020 and see how close we were.

I will throw out a few ideas that I discussed but feel free to play Carnac and make your prediction.

• There will be another level change (either 5->6 or 4->5->6)
• There will be 4 key dungeon events to play
• Coaches will finally be using tablets

An official TD token app that will let you take your tokens into the dungeon virtually.

A visual reality room.

There will be at least three new token slots created. And two new Loot tokens.

We will have changed venue twice more
Mike will have his +3 treasure pants
Jeff will have regrown the beard

All players will be required to input their builds / generate stats via app (iPads available to borrow for players who do not have a smartphone).

Epic difficulty added.

Grind is expanded such that there's at least 2 grind rooms running simultaneously the whole con.

No more combat vs puzzle variation (there will be either 2 copies of 2 dungeons, or 4 distinct dungeons).

Now for the crazy one... a sci-fi dungeon will be added. 2 of the runs will be fantasy and 2 will be sci-fi, using entirely different classes and new sets of tokens. No existing tokens will work in the sci-fi adventure.

We will be fighting pirates. Sorry that is all I got. I have had a vision of Jeff in an eye patch. He may or may not have had a parrot on his shoulder. And it might not have been rum that he was drinking. I will see if I can share this vision with you.

Some type of cost effective automated way to enter tokens into App/Spreadsheet with a reader in the coaching room ( small chip, RIFD, small barcode, etc...)

Automated calculations done on combat slide boards (also some sort of cost effective technology reducing the stress on combat coaches)

Hoverboards and flying cars!

I've seen a parrot costume with a pirate on the shoulder at Dragon*Con.
