Ok maybe not completely different, but a little different...
This auction includes a few of my own tokens. I'm simply looking to get together enough capital to do another 8k order. The market is pretty saturated right now, and I don't really see too many regular auctions hitting the 7500 threshold, and definitely not the 8k threshold. I would be happy to essentially 'trade' these tokens of mine for 9 random URs, another roll at a GT for next year, and some of the unsold trade items, so I'm happy to include them here in the hopes they will help me reach enough to make the order.
Due to that, the minimum for this order to go through is $8000, not the normal 7500, as I'm essentially already paying for the 9 random URs and a GT roll with my own tokens.
If the auction does not reach the 8k, I may chose to go through with the auction, or call the whole thing off. This auction will be run Ebay style, as my auction from last year was run.
The auction will end on FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 1st, at 12 midnight EST OR 24 hours after funding has been achieved, whichever occurs first.
The Nitty-gritty:
In order for the auction to be successful, the grand total of all bids above the minimums must
meet or exceed $8000. If the auction fails to meet the minimum, I may choose to go forward or call the whole thing off.
Bidding is eBay style:
◦ Bids are sent to me via PM
◦ You must bid at least the current bid + the bid increment.
◦ Bid increment on items less than $10: 25 cents
◦ Bid increment on items greater than or equal to $10 and less than $50: $1
◦ Bid increment on items greater than or equal to $50: $5
◦ The winning bid amount is the lesser of the 2nd highest bid + the bid increment and the highest bid.
◦ I will post the winning bid amount and a pseudonym of the bidder at minimum once per evening.
◦ In the event that multiple bidders all bid the same highest amount, the earliest bid will win it.
This auction style rewards early bidding, as you win ties and people must raise the bid by at least the bid increment to take it from you. Since the price is set by the 2nd highest bidder, you may enter your top bid initially and never overpay.
Bidding ends at 12 midnight EST Friday, November 1st OR 24 hours after funding has been achieved, whichever occurs first
There will be no extensions (aside from board technical difficulties), as orders are due by Monday, Nov 4th.
This style rewards early style bidding in the extreme. If funding is achieved quickly, the auction will end quickly.
For example if crazy town happened and Tuesday evening at 7pm I post an update that meets or exceeds $8000, the end date of the auction will become Wednesday evening at 7pm.
Any last minute changes in high bidders will not extend the auction. Again this is due simply to time constraints.
Payment is required through PayPal via friends and family.
All winning bids will have 24 hours after close of auction to provide payment. Any unpaid item(s) after allowed time will defer their winning bid and the next highest bidder will be offered the item at their maximum bid price of the item(s).
Shipping on all winning bids is $5 for 10 or fewer tokens, $8 for 11 to 150 tokens, $15 for over 150 tokens to destinations in the US. International shipping is at the actual cost of shipping. Shipping will occur within 2 weeks of receiving the tokens from True Dungeon, with the exception of the signed adventure modules which will arrive later in the year.
